CANVAS COLLECTIONS & SETS

Collection - Our Country On Canvas

Kim has travelled much of AUSTRALIA and has used this for inspiration when creating this collection.  As you will see, many of them are well known places; although, she has also painted a couple that are purely her perspectives of our beautiful countryside.

Canvas Set - Action Frog

Having lived in the AUSTRALIA JUNGLE, Kim grew fonder of Frogs and created a series that she calls 'Action Frog' which captures a frog in 3 stages jumping from a leaf to splashing into the water.

Each of the canvas's are avaliable as individual prints or as a set of the series.  Please check out the purchase prints section for more details on sizes and prices etc.

The ORIGINALS of this entire set have been SOLD.
All available as prints.

2.Frog Fly
3.Floating Leaf

Collection - Historical Highlights of Bendigo

Kim spent many years living in Bendigo and is also the place she founded Kim's Endless Creations.  Bendigo is well known for it's Historical Buildings.  Many of which were built back in the Gold Rush era when the city of Bendigo was originally established.  Kim has captured a few of these beautiful buildings onto canvas using night time as her theme.

These images are avaliable as INDIVIDUAL prints and not as a series.  Please check out the purchase prints section for sizes and prices etc
.
The ORIGINAL of 'The Cathedral' is the only one that remains in this collection.  Please contact Kim for details.
All Available as prints.

Canvas Set - The Drying Land

This collection consist of three canvas's that have been put together to illustrate the time line of the way we are headed with global warming and the extensive droughts Australia was facing when this collection was painted.

Each of the canvas's are avaliable as individual prints or as a set of the series.  Please check out the purchase prints section for more details on sizes and prices etc.

The ORIGINALS of this entire set have been SOLD.
All Available as prints.
This first is titled 'The Way We Were' which is Kim's reflection of what it would've been like once upon a time; the Aboriginals with the lushest amounts of water visible in the background, so laid back and not a care in the world.

The second is 'The Drying Land', representing more than just dirt sifting through an old man’s hands but also his life long dedication to his land that is slowly sifting further from his control.

Thirdly, 'The Dried Land'; an image capturing Kim's interpretation of where we could've headed if the drought situation hadn't improved.  It was certainly a time when it was looking as though this is where we were heading… Many lakes and river were looking just like this, and this painting shows the extreme visual if there is no food or water left for our animals or us.

More interpretation can be made from these image and that has been left to the viewers perspective.

Canvas Collection - Outback Wrap

These artworks are created using splashes of paint onto stretched gladwrap and stamped layer on layer onto the canvas.  It was certainly fun to create and somewhat challenging when the wind tried taking off with the gladwrap and paint didn’t always end up where I visualised, but this method certainly helped unleash my creative sensors.

I not only wanted to push the conventional boundaries of art creation but exercise some self-expression.  It helped me disconnect from focusing on the perfection of the visual outcome and immerge myself in the process, focusing mostly on capturing the essence of what makes up the landscape, capturing all the rich colours of the outback rather than every miniscule detail.  The only brush strokes were adding the trees, and of course my signature.
Picture
The first is titled 'The Gap - Alice Springs N.T'; I’m a country girl who has a love and passion for Australia so capturing its magnificent landscapes is certainly satisfying to the soul.  Living in Alice Springs it’s certainly not hard to be inspired by the beauty of the country around me.  This piece capturing ‘The Gap’ area of the town I currently call home.

The second is
'Outback Downpour Teaser - Claypans N.T.'; This piece inspired by a spot not too far from town called ‘The Claypans’.

Every time I visit this place, I’m mesmerised by its beauty. After some rain it is certainly a delight worth viewing, puddles of water contrasting against the rich reds and oranges of the ground. It rarely has water but when it does it creates magic to admire.  My kelpie enjoys exploring it with me and loves splashing in the puddles to cool off after chasing her ball.

Thirdly, 'Outback Sunset Surprise - Claypans N.T.', again inspired by the local Claypans as every sunset seems to bring with it a new surprise, hitting the rocks in the distance or the highlighting the rich reds and oranges of the ground and capturing this magic is my intentions with this painting.

OTHER CANVAS'S
NONE of which belong to a COLLECTION or SET.

The ORIGINAL of 'Deni Dayz' and 'Bendigo Easter Parade' are the only two that remain from these.  Please contact Kim for details.
All available as prints.

Additional Information about particular paintings...

THE SHED
The painting titled 'The Shed', is a painting entirely made up by Kim's imagination and her love for Australia, the sun burnt country that she lives in.  Kim captures her interpretation of an old service station in the middle of the outback, choosing ‘Jo’s Service Station’ because she called her pop Pa Pa Joe.  He passed on when Kim was in primary school, so it's been named as a tribute to him.  Kim also love CHEV’s which she has added in the shed… The other bits and pieces were chosen to add character to the painting.

OUTBACK WEDDING - THUMB LEAVES
The painting titled 'Outback Wedding - Thumb Leaves', was initially painted as a wedding gift for one of the Artists' best friends, this canvas had quests of the wedding add their fingerprint to the branches above and using a felt black pen signed by the guests.  This canvas was an interactive part of their wedding.  The fingerprints were added to the ends of the branches in the tree with fallen leaves in the foreground.  The bride and groom added their fingerprints in different colours to the strings above the bride and groom image as balloons.  You can purchase a blank canvas and have this at your own wedding or event.

My artist opinion would be to use autumn colour paints to create the leaves visual but this element is entirely up to the purchaser and you get creative rights to add your touch to this print for use at the wedding or chosen event.

Enjoy adding your touch and making this uniquely yours as Kim's friends had done for their wedding.
